Heating control – with Smart Home.
This is one of the key home automation systems. Like lighting control, optimum heating control helps make considerable energy savings. Accordingly, room temperatures are constantly monitored in winter. If it is too cold in the house or in a particular room, the relevant radiator is activated. As soon as the desired temperature is reached, it automatically levels out. This type of heating control is already achieved in many modern houses by means of electronic thermostats. In summer too, the temperature needs to be regulated. For example, when the midday sun is beating down on the house, the solar shading is lowered to prevent the temperature from soaring inside.
